Student Trips:
The Gailer School (Middlebury, VT) students will be setting up model classrooms at the Puerto Cabarete School.
South Burlington High School (South Burlington, VT) students will work in Rio San Juan, finishing construction on a community center.
Lawrence Academy (Groton, MA) students will help build a cafeteria at La Colonia Nueva.
Brown University students will work at Blue Moon on a computer center.
Indiana University students will be creating a small play area at the Montessori School in the batey.

MASTER OF THE OCEAN - Snapple presents a triathalon of the waves to find the Master of Ocean through surfing, kiteboarding and windsurfing competitions.

Regiopolis Notre Dame High School (Kingston, Ontario) visited Cabarete, where they designed and constructed a playground at our Puerto Cabarete school.

School Year Begins: The new DREAM Center opens its doors to 120 preschool and first grade students for the 2007-2008 academic year.

The 4th Annual Guzman Ariza DREAM Summer Program: The summer program will provide specialized educational program and support for 150 at-risk youth in the Callejon de la Loma community.

DREAM Center Inauguration: A community-wide celebration with keynote speakers will be followed by a benefit dinner at Sea Horse Ranch. The DREAM Center, located in the Callejon de la Loma community in Cabarete, is a teacher training facility, community center and model school. Teacher Training: International Step by Step Teacher Trainers from Haiti,
Argentina and the United States return for the second series of workshops
to train over 40 local Dominican teachers and DREAM volunteers enrolled
