    School Year Begins: The new DREAM Center opens its doors to 120 preschool and first grade students for the 2007-2008 academic year.
  • July 2, 2007
    The 4th Annual Guzman Ariza DREAM Summer Program: The summer program will provide specialized educational program and support for 150 at-risk youth in the Callejon de la Loma community.
  • April 13, 2007
    DREAM Center Inauguration: A community-wide celebration with keynote speakers will be followed by a benefit dinner at Sea Horse Ranch. The DREAM Center, located in the Callejon de la Loma community in Cabarete, is a teacher training facility, community center and model school. (Please contact info@dominicandream.org if you are interested in reserving tickets for the dinner.)
 
  • April 4-6, 2007
    Teacher Training: International Step by Step Teacher Trainers from Haiti, Argentina and the United States return for the second series of workshops to train over 40 local Dominican teachers and DREAM volunteers enrolled in the program.
