After completing his studies in musical composition and lyrical singing in Paris (France), Molina joined the choir and orchestra at the conservatory of Aix-en-Provence with Jean-françois Sénart. He established several groups devoted mainly to the music of the baroque and classic times. At the same time, he participated in several rock groups as a bassist, percussionist, and vocalist.
Molina’s work with singer Ángela Cruz was a crucial point for his musical development which led him to the composition of pop-folk songs for two albums of the BMG singer, Francia and Universal. Since moving to Dominican Republic eight years ago, Manuel has started a singing class in Sosua and is the Artistic Director of the Municipal Choir of Sosua since 2013. Molina has been invited several times, with Mrs. Ángela Cruz, to give vocal technique workshops to the choir of the Santiago Apóstol Chapel at the request of Father Carlos Santana, choir director. Also in conjunction with Ángela Cruz, Molina created the youth choir at Casa de Arte Foundation of Sosua, of which he is the Musical Director. Since 2013, he has also been teaching singing at the Bachata Academy of The DREAM Project in Cabarete.
