Sponsorship Opportunities
Furnish a Classroom $10,000
The new DREAM
Center in Cabarete’s Callejon de la Loma community will be equipped
with quality teaching tools and age-appropriate school furniture. Sponsorship
will provide a classroom of thirty students with furniture, school supplies,
state-of-the-art teaching materials, books, and art supplies, so that
they may have the educational experience every child deserves.
Sponsor a Volunteer $10,000
Volunteers are our organization’s backbone. Find out more about our
current
volunteers and what your sponsorship
will mean to the education of children in poverty.
Educational Explorations $7,000
For children who have never left their neighborhood, the many field
trips of the Guzman Ariza Summer
Camp are the highlights of their year. DREAM takes children to the
art museum in Santiago, to Ocean World where they can see some of the
country’s natural resources up close, to the cable car in Puerto Plata,
to the Mirabal Sisters Museum and to Playa Dorada. Sponsorship and educational
exploration covers the cost of transportation and entry fees for the
150 children that will attend summer camp in 2007.
Train a Teacher $5,000
DREAM currently pays the salaries of four teachers, three of which
are Montessori-trained. Sponsorship of a teacher means providing for
their salary for one year and ensuring that we can retain the highly
qualified staff at the Lawrence
Academy South Montessori Preschool and the new DREAM
Center.
Food for Thought $2,500
A donation of $2,500 will ensure that a preschool classroom of 30 children
will receive a healthy breakfast everyday for the entire year. To find
out more information about our preschool programs, please see Lawrence
Academy South Montessori Preschool, DREAM
Center, Ruth Plaut.
While we will make every effort to use donations as intended, The DREAM
Project reserves the right to apply funds where they are most needed to
meet our mission of providing a quality education to children in poverty.
