Vesna Radivojevic

Vesna has been teaching for over twenty-three years, including seventeen years as an international educator in various roles. She discovered the world of international schools when she and her husband first moved to the Dominican Republic in 2000 in search of a better life after the hardships in former Yugoslavia. Since 2000, she taught in international schools in the Dominican Republic, Tokyo and Singapore. Throughout these seventeen years, she has grown as a professional and a person in many ways, pushing the boundaries of places she comes from, family scripts and predetermined paths set before her. She is a lifelong learner and a genuine product of global education. Her educational experience includes a B. A. in English Language and Literature from her home country, M.A. in Early Childhood Education, Teaching Certification and Master’s in Elementary Education through The College of New Jersey, and a Certificate in Literacy (Reader’s and Writer’s Workshop) through SUNY. She is a strong believer in the human capacity to change and make the world a better place. She is very excited to be joining The DREAM Project, having the opportunity to follow her dreams and give back to the community she loves and feels a part of.
