Allison Bullard graduated in 2006 from Dartmouth College with a degree in Romance Languages, French and Spanish. She has studied in Paris and Uruguay and worked in the Dominican Republic, Peru and the US. She loves working with children and hopes to become a teacher in a bilingual Spanish/English school in the US. John grew up in Tacoma, WA and attended the University of Notre Dame, where he earned both a BA degree and MA degree. Before becoming a DREAM volunteer, John lived in Seattle, WA and worked as a certified public accountant for the past five years. John is stationed at the Puerto Cabarete school where he teaches computer classes and supervises a student council. In addition to that, he hopes to get the computer lab running as an internet café for the local community during the evenings, and helps out in various ways in the DREAM office.

Kim Hults

Kim Hults is a native of Boston, Massachusetts and recently graduated from Middlebury College with a double major in Spanish and American Civilization. As an undergraduate, Kim studied abroad in Spain and worked as a summer program coordinator in Costa Rica. Growing up amidst an in-home preschool ran by her mother, Kim is thrilled to be assisting in the planning and development of DREAM's newest preschool and teacher training model center in Cabarete.

In addition, Kim will work at the Colonia Nueva school as both a reading instructor and student council facilitator. Kim serves DREAM as a member of the World Education Corps, a global service organization based out of the 21st Century School at Oxford University.

Jeff Mabry graduated from the University of Oregon with a BS in Biology and received his Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) from the University of Alaska Southeast. He has been a high school teacher for eight years.

Julia Mabry graduated from Prescott College with a BA in Field Ecology and received her Master of Science in Fisheries from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Julia and Jeff came to volunteer for DREAM as a family. Their two daughters Josi (age 10) and Jasmin (age 6) are students at DREAM sponsored school CADIN.

Before coming to DREAM, Monica worked as both a translator and a outreach support counselor for the United Nations in the World Food Program. In this position she educated HIV positive woman regarding their, as well as their children's, health and nutrition. Upon moving to Cabarete, Monica volunteered with DREAM supporting a first grade classroom at the Colonia Nueva School.

Caroline Stauffer

Caroline Stauffer volunteers in the village of Los Marranitos, in the
mountainous center of the Dominican Republic. She lives next to Alta Gracia coffee farm, founded by DREAM Honorary Chairman Julia Alvarez and her husband Bill Eichner. She spends much of her time in the Alta Gracia library, and volunteers in the public school in the neighboring village of Los Dajaos. Caroline is a native of Topeka, Kansas, and a graduate of Middlebury College with a degree in International Studies. She serves the DREAM Project with the support of the World Education Corps, a global service organization affiliated with the 21st Century School at Oxford University.
