For children in the Dominican Republic, learning to read is about more than recognizing letters and words. It's about building confidence, succeeding in school, and opening doors to a brighter future.

Through DREAM Project's early literacy initiatives, including our Young Stars (Estrellas Jóvenes) program, children receive consistent reading instruction and encouragement, while teachers and families gain the tools to support their learning.

The results speak for themselves. During the 2025–2026 academic year, 84% of assessed Young Stars students advanced at least one literacy stage, demonstrating the impact of sustained support.

This year-end giving season, we're working to raise $35,000 by December 31 to strengthen early literacy opportunities for children in the communities we serve.
